Terms of Service
(Users)
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms of Service define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of Yeowubi Interaction Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) and users (hereinafter referred to as “Members”) regarding the use of internet-related services (hereinafter referred to as “Services”) provided by the Winnie Platform (hereinafter referred to as “the Platform”).
※ These Terms apply to electronic commerce conducted via PC communication, mobile, or other electronic methods, unless their nature conflicts with such platforms.
Article 2 (Definitions)
- Platform: Refers to a virtual business space established by the Company using computers or information communication devices to provide services or products (hereinafter referred to as “Services, etc.”) to users. It also represents the operator of the platform.
- User: Refers to individuals accessing the Platform and using its services as defined in these Terms.
- Member: Refers to a general member who registers with the Platform and is eligible to continuously use the free services provided for general members.
- Vendor Member (Vendor): Distinct from general members, this refers to individuals or organizations registered on the Platform and using paid vendor services for marketing, customer management, or related purposes.
Article 3 (Display, Explanation, and Revision of Terms)
- The Platform will display these Terms, the Company’s name, representative’s name, business address (including the address for handling consumer complaints), telephone number, fax number, email address, business registration number, electronic commerce registration number, and personal information management officer on the initial service screen for easy access by users. The content of the Terms may also be made available through a linked page.
- The Platform may revise these Terms within the limits of applicable laws, including the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, Regulation of Standardized Contracts Act, and other relevant laws.
- When revising the Terms, the Platform will specify the revision date and reason and notify users of the revisions at least seven days before implementation. For changes disadvantageous to users, a notice period of at least 30 days will be provided.
- Revised Terms will apply only to contracts established after the effective date. Contracts established before the effective date will follow the previous Terms unless the user requests otherwise during the notice period, and the Platform agrees to the change.
- For matters not stipulated in these Terms, the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, the Regulation of Standardized Contracts Act, and other relevant laws or customary practices will apply.
Article 4 (Provision and Modification of Services)
- The Platform provides the following services:
- Information on services or products for general members
- Free services for general members
- Other tasks determined by the Platform
- The Platform may modify service specifications or content due to technological updates. Any changes will be posted immediately, specifying the revised content and effective date.
- In case of changes to services already contracted with users, the Platform will notify users of the reasons for such changes.
Article 5 (Service Interruption)
- The Platform may temporarily suspend services due to maintenance, replacement, or failure of communication equipment.
- In such cases, the Platform is liable for damages only if caused by its intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
- If service provision is permanently discontinued due to reasons such as business changes or mergers, the Platform will notify users in accordance with Article 8 and compensate them based on pre-announced conditions.
Article 6 (Membership Registration)
- Users apply for membership by completing the registration form and agreeing to these Terms.
- The Platform will approve applications unless:
- The user was previously disqualified under Article 7, Clause 3.
- False information is provided.
- Technical issues prevent registration.
- Membership is effective once the Platform approves the application and notifies the user.
- Members must promptly update any changes to their registration information.
Article 7 (Termination and Suspension of Membership)
- Members may request withdrawal at any time, and the Platform will process the termination.
- Membership may be suspended or restricted if:
- False information was provided during registration.
- Payments or obligations related to service use are not fulfilled.
- Disruptive or illegal activities occur.
- The Platform may terminate membership after repeated violations or unresolved issues within 30 days of notification.
- In case of termination, members will be notified and given 30 days to present their case.
Article 8 (User Notifications)
- Notifications to users may be sent via email provided during registration.
- General announcements may be posted on the Platform for at least seven days, but individual notices will be provided for matters significantly affecting the user.
Article 9 (Consent to Provide Personal Information)
- The Platform requires user consent to share personal information with third parties, specifying the recipient, purpose, data, and retention period.
- Personal information handling by third parties will also require user consent unless it pertains to service contracts.
Article 10 (Service Availability)
Services will be made available within seven days of user registration unless otherwise agreed.
Article 11 (Personal Information Protection)
- The Platform collects the minimum necessary personal information.
- Collected information is used only for the stated purposes, and user consent is obtained for additional uses.
- Users can access and correct their information at any time, and the Platform will act promptly on such requests.
Article 12 (Platform Obligations)
- The Platform must provide stable services and secure user information.
- It is prohibited from sending unsolicited commercial emails.
Article 13 (Member Responsibilities)
- Members are responsible for safeguarding their IDs and passwords.
- They must notify the Platform immediately of any unauthorized use.
Article 14 (User Obligations)
Users must not engage in:
- Providing false information
- Infringing the rights of others
- Posting obscene or illegal content
Article 19 (Effective Date)
These Terms of Service take effect on November 1, 2024.
